As you may know, every afternoon our volunteers organize activities and offer moments of fun and entertainment for our little patients.
Friday has been Fruit Day for years: our volunteers bring delicious fresh fruit to the pediatric ward and our reception facilities to offer to the little patients undergoing surgery at the Ospedale del Cuore and their families.
We would like to thank Angela Basteri, owner of the “Da Francesco” fruit and vegetable shop in Castagnola, who provides us with a generous box of fruit every week, a favorite of all our families.
Fruit becomes that small moment of sweetness to share,
a moment long-awaited by both adults and children.
