On February 14th, marks World Congenital Heart Disease Day, and we choose to give a voice to the hearts that began fighting very early.
Behind a diagnosis, there’s much more than a medical report: there are parents who must learn a new language too quickly, children who must face surgeries, routine checkups, and waits with extraordinary courage.
As an association of parents of children with heart disease, we know how important it is to not feel alone. Raising awareness means informing and building a network capable of supporting every family at the most fragile and difficult time of their lives.
Thanks to Marcella, the grandmother of a child with heart disease, who donated wonderful homemade items that were packaged by our volunteers and given to the families at the hospital.
Today, we want to shine a light on these stories so that no one will ever feel alone again.
Because every heart, even the most fragile, deserves a listening ear, care, and a future.
