On Fat Thursday, the corridors of the Ospedale del Cuore filled with color, masks, and laughter.
Not just any afternoon, but a special Carnival, brought to life by our wonderful volunteers who, with imagination and joy, brought a moment of lightheartedness to children and adults alike.
For a few hours, worries gave way to magic: a decorated cart, a regal dress, and so much color.
Small gestures that can make a big difference—remembering that, even in the hospital, there’s room for joy.
The children’s smiles, the curious glances, and the laughter shared with adults reveal the true meaning of our volunteering: being there with our hearts, alongside those experiencing difficult times.
