Today, we want to remember every woman, every mother we’ve met as an Association over these 31 years of volunteering.
Strong and courageous women who never gave up, but hoped every day to see their little ones grow up.
Among them are women who cried with us, suffered, and along those corridors of the ward and inside the shelters, always found a safe place where they could let go without judgment.
Because caring for mothers is essential to us: every day we see your tireless gaze, your hands always ready to console and face the difficulties that arise, one step at a time.
- Best wishes to all mothers: those who hug their little ones, those who gaze at them every evening in every little shining star, those mothers who are expecting, and also to those women who hope and dream of having a child.
- Best wishes to the mothers who travel so many miles to come to us and see their child cared for. You are a strength and a great example.
- Best wishes to the mothers who have also become grandmothers: they have truly experienced that Love is the only thing that, even when divided or shared, actually multiplies!
Our Friday shift volunteers have prepared a wonderful surprise for all the mothers on the ward: a gift to always remind each of them that they are not alone in this difficult journey, but that the volunteers are always by their side to support and assist them.
