On Saturday, May 31st, we were invited to participate in the “Luigi Mazza Memorial” at the 46th Air Brigade in Pisa. This charity event was organized in collaboration with the Pumass Section of the 46th Air Brigade to benefit our association.
A four-a-side football tournament, featuring the home team, the Pisa Medical Association, the Misericordia di Montemurlo, and a team from the Ospedale del Cuore, captained by nurse Stefano Banti.
Under a warm, summery sun, the tournament was held, with the Ospedale del Cuore team as the winner. It was a day dedicated to remembering Luigi Mazza, and the embrace between former colleagues and his parents was moving.
